Law enforcement will increase DWI patrols for Memorial Day weekend

ALBION – Memorial Day is one of the busiest travel holidays of the year and marks the official start of summer. Law enforcement agencies and local STOP-DWI programs will collaborate across the state and will be out in force in this coordinated effort to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths.
Orleans County Sheriff Chris Bourke, who is also the county’s STOP-DWI coordinator, announced local law enforcement agencies plan to join forces in a STOP-DWI Memorial Day Weekend High Visibility Engagement Campaign from May 26–30.
