Medina wins regular season lacrosse finale

Building up a commanding 10-0 halftime advantage, Medina went on to defeat Brockport 16-6 in a regular season ending non league lacrosse game at Vets Park this afternoon.
Josh Wilson sored 5 goals Cayden Lilleby 4 and Will Prest 3 to lead the Medina attack as Liam Castricone chipped in with 2 and Lucius Wagner and Jacob Rissew 1 each.
Getting two early goals from Lilleby, along with 1 each from Castricone and Prest, Medina jumped out to a 4-0 first quarter lead.
Prest then tallied 2 goals in the second quarter as Lilleby, Wilson, Castricone and Wagner each added 1 boosting the Mustangs advantage to 10-0 at the half.
Medina maintained a 13-3 lead at the three-quarter mark as Wilson tallied twice and Lilleby once in the third period.
Medina will now take an 11-5 record into the upcoming Section VI Class D playoffs.
