Holley stays perfect in U17 Division

Pulling away in the second half, the Holley U17 team blanked the visiting Genesee Lancers 4-0 this afternoon to stay unbeaten at 9-0 in Rochester District Soccer League action.

Holley took a slender 1-0 lead in the first half on what proved to be the game winning goal by Patrick Bower off an assist from Xander Apicella.

Holley then broke the contest wide open with three second half tallies on goals by Apicella, Derek McArthur and Bailey Schubmehl.

Cameron Bennage, who made a couple of big stops, earned the shutout in goal.

The shutout was the seventh in nine games for the Holley defense.

Holley next hosts Dansville/Mt. Morris at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
