Hawks place second at Cal-Mum
Going 3-1 on the day, Holley took second place honors today at the Caledonia-Mumford Wrestling Tournament.
Holley defeated Cal-Mum 55-19, North Rose-Wolcott 60-23 and Wilson Magnet 83-6 but lost to Avon 44-39.
Kory Puente, Nick Shenck, Martin Beadle and Lucas Silvis all went 4-0 for the Hawks.
Holley next hosts Attica at 6 p.m. Tuesday in a Genesee Region League match.
Victor Duals
Albion went 1-4 at the Victor Duals. The Purple Eagles defeated Brighton 41-27 but lost to Byron-Bergen 73-0, Pittsforf 47-21, Hanibal 54-36 and Victor 69-15.
Lockport Tournament
Medina had two place finishers at the Lockport Tournament as Charles Beach (195) took third and Brennen Callara (113) fourth.
