Rams thump Lakemen avenging earlier loss; Tigers and Eagles post shutout wins

Avenging an earlier season shutout (2-0) loss, Roy-Hart romped to an 18-0 win over host Wilson in a Niagara-Orleans League game this afternoon.

Brayden Hy and Rem Albee both banged out 3 hits and winning pitcher Thomas Russo, Dawson Draper and Nate Beyer each had 2 to lead the Roy-Hart attack.

On the mound, Russo hurled a 2 hitter with 15 strikeouts.

Roy-Hart took a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run single by Albee.

The Rams upped the lead to 6-0 in the third inning on a two-run homer by Russo, a double by Draper and an RBI single by Evan Poeller.

Beyer had a two-run single and Albee an RBI single in the fourth to make it 9-0.

The advantage jumped to 11-0 in the fifth on an RBI triple by Hy and an RBI double by Russo.

The Rams capped off the win with a big 7 run sixth inning highlighted by two-run homers by Hy and Draper.

Roy-Hart is now 3-1 in the league and Wilson 2-1.

Akron 12, Barker 0
Improving to 3-0, Akron blanked Barker 12-0 in another N-O contest as Jack Julicher pitched a 2 hitter with 11 strikeouts.

Julicher, Andrew Romesser and Dawson Stone each had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Tigers.

Kendall 15, Pembroke 0
Kendall boosted its Genesee Region League record to 4-2 with a 15-0 victory over Pembroke as Nick Cole and Jacek Kwiatkowski combined for the shutout on the mound allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.

Louis Conte had 3 hits, including a two-run double which highlighted a big 9 run third inning, and Kwiatkowski 2.
