Strong college diamond starts for R-H grads

Roy-Hart graduates Ryan Mettler and Reanna Perkins are both off to busy freshman seasons on the collegiate diamonds.
Mettler has played both second base and in the outfield for the Finger Lakes Community College baseball team which is off to a 6-0 start during a season opening trip to Florida.
Majoring in Kinesiology and Human Performance, he is hitting .667 after going 6 of 9 at the plate with 2 doubles and 6 runs batted in.
Perkins has started at shortstop in eight games for the St. Bonaventure University softball team during its season opening trip to Hawaii.
Majoring in Health Science, she drove in the Bonnies lone run in a 1-0 victory over Pacific.
