Albion U16 booters win opener
The Albion boys U16 soccer team opened its season on a high note Wednesday by defeating the visiting WSA Gold 2-1 in a Rochester District League contest.
The WSA Gold scored a quick goal in the first half but Albion came battling back with a pair of second half tallies.
Albion pulled even early in the second half as Dakoda Henhawk scored off an assist from Hayden Pecoraro.
Pecoraro then scored what proved to be the game winning goal.
Connor Zicari had a big game in goal for Albion.
