Lyndonville youth diamond league prepping for season

With the Major League teams already playing Spring Training games, locally Lyndonville youth baseball/softball league officials are also already getting set for the upcoming season.

In all the Lyndonville League is looking to have several teams in each of six different age group divisions including Boys and Girls Tee Ball for ages 4-6, Girls Minor Softball for ages 6-8, Girls Junior Softball for ages 9-11, Girls Major Softball for ages 12 and up, Boys Minor Baseball for ages 7-9 and Boys Major Baseball for ages 10-12.

Just as was the case last year the schedules for the Lyndonville teams will includes games against Medina and Middleport squads.

The season is scheduled to begin in May and the league will hold player sign-ups at the Lyndonville School from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on March 5, March 12 and March 19.
