Tops plans to reopen Albion, Medina stores on Monday morning
Tops is planning to reopen its Albion and Medina stores at 6 a.m. on Monday after the stores were closed Friday afternoon during a blizzard.
Tops closed its stores in Orleans, Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Wyoming counties on Friday due to the “continued extreme weather conditions.”
The stores in four of those counties will reopen at 6 a.m. in Monday, while some of the stores in Erie County may open later.
“We recognize our obligation to serve the neighborhoods we operate in and want to ensure a safe environment for our associates and customers,” Tops said in a statement. “We appreciate your understanding.”
Before venturing a Tops location, the company suggests that customers check the Tops social media pages (Facebook/Instagram), the website (topsmarkets.com), or call the consumer affairs line at 1-800-522-2522.
The Albion Walmart won’t reopen until Tuesday.
