Travel ban lifted in Orleans; Sheriff urges caution on roads
Orleans County has lifted a travel ban that was in place since about noon on Friday.
Sheriff Chris Bourke said a travel advisory remains in place and urges drivers to use caution on the roadways.
“The roads are still snow-covered and slippery,” Bourke said. “Crews are still out plowing and salting. Also, the recovery of vehicles off the road is continuing with tow companies.”
