Area starts to shift past peak of fall foliage
The area is starting to move past peak fall foliage, I Love NY reported on Thursday during a weekly update about the changing leaves this fall.
“In Orleans County, trees are showing peak and past-peak foliage with 90% color change and very brilliant shades of yellow, orange, red, and deep red,” according the report from I Love NY.
The Southern Tier and Adirondacks are past their peak, while much of the Greater Niagara and Finger Lakes regions are in peak conditions, according to I Love NY.
The next four days will have nice weather to get out and see the sights. It will be sunny with high temperatures at 70 or the low 70s in Orleans County from Saturday through Tuesday.
