Rams second half rally downs Mustangs
Putting together a big second half scoring surge Roy-Hart downed Medina 5-1 at Vets Park this morning to remain undefeated at 6-0 atop the Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer standings.
Medina grabbed a 1-0 first half lead on a goal by Cole Callard but the Mustangs could not find the net again.
Roy-Hart quickly tied the game on a penalty kick goal by Peter Martillotta just two minutes into the second half.
The Rams then moved on top to stay when Landen Guild scored off an assist from Rem Albee at the 25 minute mark.
Roy-Hart put a firm lock on the victory as Albee, Jack Johnson and Martillotta scored consecutive goals over the final 20 minutes.
Medina is now 2-3 in the league and 4-3 overall. Roy-Hart is 8-1 overall.
