Lady Tigers prep to defend volleyball title

Bolstered by a good group of six returnees, Lyndonville is prepping to defend its Genesee Region League Division 2 volleyball title.
The Lady Tigers returners include seniors Haley Shaffer, Lorelei Dillenbeck, Kylie Reisman and Brianna Smith along with junior Ashlee Stephens and sophomore Addision Dillenbeck.
Shaffer, Lorelei Dillenbeck and Addison Dillenbeck all earned G-R All-Star honors llast season.
“We won the division last year and we’ve got a real good group back so we’re working to repeat,” said Coach Kate Draper.
Lyndonville will begin that title defense by hosting Wheatland-Chili at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
