Local players to compete in All-Star football game

A quartet of local players will be competing in the 46th annual Kensingston Lions Club All Star Football Classic on July 29 at 7 p.m. at Buffalo State College.

The local foursome, who will be playing on the North squad, includes Jarin Rhim, Iverson Poole and Greg Thompson from Medina and Jahmeek Riley from Albion.

Five other area players will also be playing for the North team including Travis Fry from Akron, Chris Kerr and Ryan Kramp from Newfane and Luke Atlas and Xavior Fitzgibbon from Newfane,

The North team will be practicing at Lockport High from July 18-27.

Tickets for the game will be available for $12 at practices and $15 at the gate. Tickets for children 12 and under will be $5.
