MHS Class of ’86 hosts Lizzy’s Loves Tourney
Contributed Photo – Members of the Medina High Class of 1986 hosted the third Lizzy’s Loves Golf Tournament in memory of Liz Monell this past Saturday at Shelridge Country Club. A total of 88 people participated in the tournament which raised a total of $11,000. Those funds will benefit the Knights Kaderli Foundation ($9,600) and help to start a MHS scholarship in Liz’s name ($1.000). In addition, the class added a $500 scholarship in memory of Rosey Armstrong from the MHS Class of ’86. In 3 years the Class of ’86 has raised over $26,000 for Knights Kaderli and $4,500 for scholarships for MHS students.
