Kendall ‘9 ‘ rallies late to nip rival Holley
Kendall pushed across two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip rival Holley 3-2 in a Genesee Region League baseball game this afternoon.
Trailing 2-1, Kendall pulled out the win as a double by Reuben Marquess drove in the tying run and a bases loaded passed ball plated the game winner.
The Eagles other run came on an RBI single by James Fox in the fourth inning.
Holley’s runs came on a two-run double by Miles Lammes in the first inning.
The Hawks later got the bases loaded with no outs in the fifth frame but Marquess came on in relief to get Kendall out of the jam on a fielders choice play out and two strikeouts.
Improving to 11-4, Kendall next visits Alexander on Thursday.

Kendall 23, Holley 6
Lauren Pilon and Grace Robinson both had 4 hits and Grace Levett 3 to lead Kendall’s offense in the 23-6 over rival Holley.
Pilon’s hits included a home run and a double with 3 RBIs as Robinson and Levett each drove in 4 runs. Ella Christ also banged out a triple.
Sara Mattle picked up the win in the circle scattering 5 hits and striking out 8 for Kendall which improves to 9-7.
