Albion Storm tops LeRoy Red in softball
The Albion Storm traveled to take on LeRoy Red this evening and came home with a 16-8 fast pitch softball victory.
Defense was on point for the Storm with Izzy D’Agostino starting on the mound and getting 3 strikeouts in 2 innings. Leah Zastrow came in for the third and fourth innings also snagging a K and getting out of the third inning with only 4 pitches. Melia Prince came in to finish the game covering the 5th and 6th inning snagging herself 3 strikeouts.
The offense the Storm was strong racking up 13 hits. Leading the way was Adrianna D’Agostino going 3-3 , Izzy D’Agostino, Gia Howard, and Sophia Dash all went 2-3. Brooklynn Miens, Meadow Smith and Brooke Miller each collected singles as well.
The Storm travels to Brockport on Friday.
