Barker and Roy-Hart post N-O softball wins
Barker (6-3) downed host Medina (3-9) 14-11 and Roy-Hart (11-0) topped visiting Albion (4-7) 15-1 in Niagara-Orleans League softball action this afternoon.
In the other N-O contest, Akron (7-5) bested Wilson (6-5) 17-7.
Lilly Monthony had 5 hits including two doubles and two triples to highlight the offense for Barker as Natalie Brandel, Rachel Sutter, Anna Bowerman and Mia Herman each had 2 hits.
Faith Oberther had 3 hits for Medina as Iyla Lilleby and Rylee VanNostrand both had 2.
Reanna Perkins struck out 12 in the circle and also belted a pair of home runs to lead the Roy-Hart attack.
Juliana Buscarino, Peyton May and Lila Brigham each had a pair of hits for the Lady Rams.
Aly Knaak had 2 hits for Albion.

In Genesee Region League softball action, undefeated (14-0) Lyndonville swept a doubleheader from Wheatland-Chili by scores of 24-0 and 30-4, Pembroke blanked Kendall 7-0 and Oakfield-Alabama downed Holley 24-1.
