Scoring early and often, Wilson posted a 20-10 win over Medina in a Niagara-Orleans League softball game at chilly Vets Park this afternoon.

Rian Faery had 5 hits and Bella Lemke 4, including a home run, to lead the offense for Wilson which scored 4 times in the second, fourth and fifth innings and 6 in the third.

Faith Oberther had a double for Medina which had a 5 run fifth inning.

Wilson is now 3-2 and Medina 1-5.

A combination of cold weather and poor field conditions caused the other two scheduled N-O softball games (Albion vs. Newfane and Barker vs. Roy-Hart) and the three N-O baseball games (Medina vs. Akron, Wilson vs. Roy-Hart and Newfane vs. Barker) to all be postponed until 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
