Depew stickmen rally late to edge Medina

Trailing 6-3 Depew rallied to score four unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to nip Medina 7-6 in a Class D Division lacrosse game this evening at Vets Park.
Erasing an early 2-0 deficit, Medina had grabbed a 4-3 half-time lead after consecutive second quarter goals by Dylan Lonnen, Jacob Rissew, Josh Wilson and Will Prest.
The Mustangs maintained a 6-3 advantage after third period goals by Cayden Lilleby and Wilson but could not score in the decisive final period.
Now at 3-6 overall Medina next hosts Wilson at 5 p.m. Thursday.
