National Grid reports 900 still without power in Orleans

There are still 903 National Grid customers without electricity in Orleans County this morning, the company reported on its website at 8:47 a.m.

The company has 1,984 customers total in upstate without power, and about half of those are in Orleans County.

There were more than 4,000 Grid customers without electricity in Orleans County on Sunday afternoon when powerful winds took down trees, branches and wires. The company is estimating electricity will be restored in the county by 10:15 this morning.
