Albion girls best Roy-Hart for first N-O win
Albion snapped a season long three game Niagara-Orleans League losing streak by downing host Roy-Hart 42-30 this evening.
Abby Scanlan scored a game high 22 and Sydney Mulka added 11 to pace Albion which led 19-14 at the half and 29-24 after three quarters.
Ava Owens scored 11 and Claire Halstead 9 for Roy-Hart which is also 1-3 in N-O action.
Newfane 41, Akron 31
Newfane improved to 5-1 in N-O competition by defeating Akron 41-31 as Allison Clark scored 16 and Jensen McGhee 14.
Newfane led 21-16 at the half and 29-24 at the three-quarter mark.
