Fast start sparks Elba to win over Albion
Building up a 25-13 half-time advantage, Elba went on to defeat visiting Albion 49-23 in a non league girls basketball game this evening.
Dakota Brinkman scored 9 and Rachel Walls 8 to spark Elba which led 18-4 after the first quarter.
Skoi Sanders scored 7, Abby Scanlan 6 and Madison Hughson 5 for Albion which next hosts Oakfield-Alabama at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Sanders also had 11 rebounds.
