Penfield tips Raptors in key U19 contest
Front-running Penfield rallied to defeat the visiting Albion Raptors 3-2 this evening in a key Rochester District Soccer League girls U19 Division game.
The Raptors jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Claire Squicciarini.
However, Penfield first rallied to knot the contest before halftime and then to score the first two goals of the second half for a 3-1 lead to key the win.
Nkki Creasey scored the Raptors other goal on a free kick.
Aly Knaak and Aurora Serafin split the goal tending duties for the Raptors.
Pemfield is now 5-0-1 and the Raptors 3-1.
The Raptors will next host Penfield in a key rematch on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Genesee Community College.
