Roy-Hart and Medina score softball road wins

Improving to 7-4, Roy-Hart edged host Albion 9-8 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League softball game.

Reanna Perkins had a big night for Roy-Hart both in the circle with 11 strikeouts and at the plate with a home run and a triple.

Shelby Wolf, Maria Peracciny and Casey Wolf also had multiple hit games for the Lady Rams.

For Albion, Bryne Dysard had three hits, including a triple, Kenzi Hapeman two with a triple and Leah Pritchard registered 10 strikeouts in the circle.

Roy-Hart will close out the N-O season at home against Barker on Thursday while Albion, which is now 4-7, will finish at Newfane on Friday.

Medina 9, Barker 8

Medina likewise trimmed host Barker 9-8 this afternoon to improve to 6-5 in N-O action.

Hannah Kenward had a single, double and triple and Miriam Fike two singles and a double for Medina which also had Paige Adkins and Brooklyn Brown with triples and Tessa Boyce two singles.

Medina closes out the N-O season at Wilson on Thursday.

Akron 10, Wilson 1

Akron capped off an undefeated (12-0) N-O title season with a 10-1 victory over Wilson slips to 7-4.
