Lockport woman dies in Royalton motorcycle accident on Sunday
ROYALTON – A Lockport woman was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident in Royalton.
State Troopers said Alicia T. Calderone, 41, died after a collision at the intersection of Chestnut Hill Road and Mill Road at about noon.
Troopers said the 2004 Suzuki operated by Calderone was eastbound on Chestnut Hill Road and lost control turning north on Mill Road, striking a curb and then a boulder off the side of the roadway.
Calderone was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was transported to the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in the investigation, which remains ongoing.
