Lady Tigers sophomore hurls no hitter

Getting a no hit pitching effort from sophomore Lorelei Dillenbeck,  Lyndonville made it 12 wins in a row by closing out the Genesee Region League softball season with a 22-0 five inning run rule win over host Holley this morning.

Dillenbeck registered 6 strikeouts in the circle as the Lady Tigers finish the regular season with a near perfect 14-1 record.

Gracie Johnson spearheaded the Lyndonville attack with 5 hits including a double, two triples and a total of 9 RBIs.

Chloe Stinson had 3 hits, including a double and Brynn Howell 2 hits for the Lady Tigers which broke the game open early erupting for 9 runs in the first inning.

Lyndonville will be the No. 1 seed for next week’s Section V Class C2 tournament. The pairings for the tourney will be announced Sunday.
