Kendall girls top W-C; Lyndonville wins 10th
Celebrating Senior Night in style, Kendall posted a 16-1 victory over Wheatland-Chili this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.
Lauren Pilon had 4 hits including 3 doubles and 6 RBIs to lead the Kendall attack.
Sara Mattle hurled a 1 hitter with 3 strikeouts in the circle and also went 4 for 4 at the plate including a double and 2 RBIs.
Julie Coble and Shelby Kruger both went 5 for 5 for the Lady Eagles and Ciera Kupferschmid was 3 for 4 including a triple and 2 RBIs.
Grace Levett, Taigan Guerrero and Marah Woodward each added a pair of hits as Kendall improved to 3-3 in the division and 5-6 overall.
Lyndonville 7, Pembroke 3
Lyndonville boosted its record to 10-1 with a 7-3 G-R victory over Pembroke.
Haley Shaffer picked up the win in the circle scattering 6 hits and striking out 7.
Gracie Johnson had a solo home run and an RBI single and Brianna Krisher two RBI singles to highlight the Lady Tigers offense.
In another G-R contest, Byron-Bergen defeated Holley 10-1.
