Medina rolls to lacrosse win over Tonawanda
Getting goal production from seven different players, Medina romped to a rain soaked 18-4 victory over host Tonawanda this evening in a Class D Division lacrosse game.
Leading 4-2, Medina broke the contest side open by erupting for eight unanswered goals in the second quarter to race away to a commanding 12-2 half-time advantage.
The Mustangs maintained a 15-3 lead after three quarters.
Mitchell Silversmith and Josh Wilson each scored 5 goals to lead the Mustang scoring parade. Zach Blount also netted 3, Mark Reigle 2 and Tasker Taylor, Jacob Rissew and Sam Kingsbury 1 each.
Improving to 3-1, Medina next visits 3-1 Salamanca on Wednesday.
