Off to a strong 3-0 start, Medina’s bid for a C North Division football title and a berth in the upcoming Section VI playoffs has been interrupted as the Mustangs are now on a Covid-19 related pause.

The pause has caused this coming Friday evening’s home game against Wilson to be postponed. No make-up date has been announced. The Mustangs other remaining regular season game is scheduled to be at Tonawanda on Thursday April 29.

Medina becomes the fourth of the six C North Division teams to go on a pause so far this season. The others are Cleveland Hill, Newfane and Tonawanda. Only Akron and Wilson have avoided a pause situation to date although both have had games against fill-in foes when their regular scheduled opponent was put on pause.
