Wildcats post win over Purple Eagles
Improving to 2-0, Depew downed visiting Albion 28-14 this evening in a B2 Division game.
The Wildcats grabbed a 7-0 first quarter advantage and went on to lead by margins of 14-7 at the half and 28-7 after three quarters.
Chris Peters passed for two touchdowns and ran for one and Christian Pagano rushed for 134 yards and passed for a touchdown to spark the Depew offense.
Albion’s touchdowns came on a five yard run by Tony Freeman in the second quarter and a fumble recovery by Javon Jones in the four quarter. Declan McCue added the two extra point kicks.
Now at 0-2, Albion will next host Dunkirk at 7 p.m. next Friday.
