Akron girls post win over Medina

Jumping out to a 15 point first quarter lead, Akron went on to defeat host Medina 62-16 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball game.
Akron grabbed a 16-1 first period lead as Jessee Jonathan had three baskets and Ella Hill and Isabelle Jones two each.
Jonathan finished with a game high 18 points, Hill 14 and Giahna Lafromboise 10.
Lily Carpenter scored 7 and Anya Bloom 4 for Medina.
In another N-O contest, Wilson defeated Barker 41-26.
