Genesee cancels rapid Covid testing on Tuesday due to expected storm

BATAVIA – With the anticipation of a winter storm hitting the GLOW region tonight and tomorrow, Genesee County announced that the Covid-19 testing scheduled for Feb. 16 will be cancelled.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our workers and the public we are cancelling Covid-19 testing tomorrow,” said Genesee County Manager Matt Landers.
Testing will resume on Tuesday, February 23rd, at the Genesee County Emergency Management Office & Fire Training Facility at 7690 State Street Road in the Town of Batavia at a time to be determined.
