Albion girls make it six wins in a row
Coming on strong after a slow 1-3 start to the season, Albion made it six wins in a row by downing host Barker 4-2 this morning to close out the Niagara-Orleans girls soccer season.
Abby Scanlan had three goals and one assist, Leah Prichard a goal and an assist, Claire Squicciarini an assist and Nikki Creasey an assist for Albion which will take a 7-3 league record into the sectionals.
Paige Sutch scored both goals for Barker.
Akron 7, Newfane 0
Kara Sequin scored five goals to lead Akron (4-5-1) to a 7-0 win over Newfane (2-7-1).
