Medina FC soccer club posts shutout
Improving to 4-1-1, the Medina Mustang FC soccer club shutout Rust Belt United 3-0 Thursday evening in a Sahlens Cup 2nd/3rd Division game at Sahlens Sportspark.
Toby Albone earned the shout in goal.
Tyler Arnold, Greg Husung and Sam Kinerk each had a goal for the Mustangs.
Ethan Leonard and Jesse Fergen both added an assist.
Medina is now all alone in second place a game behind the front-running Westside Blitz which is 5-1-0.
The Mustangs will close out the regular season against the Sahara Gunners (3-2-1) on August 23 at Sahlens Sportspark.
