Orleans senior athletes in the spotlight
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Completing the HUB’s week long series spotlighting some of Orleans County’s senior athletes are, from left, Abbie Pappalardo (Albion), Morgan Allis (Medina) and Jonathan Slingerland (Lyndonville). Pappalardo was a three year member of the Albion varsity soccer squad and a two year member of the Purple Eagles varsity basketball team. Allis was a four year member of Medina’s varsity softball team and a three-year member of the varsity soccer squad. Slingerland was a two year member of both the Lyndonville varsity basketball team and the Medina/Lyndonville varsity soccer squad. He has also competed in the Pentathlon in track.
Jade Hofforth (Holley) and Tristyn Moyer (Kendall). Hofforth was a two year member of both the Holley varsity volleyball and basketball teams. Moyer was a four year member of the Holley-Kendall wrestling squad and a two year member of the Kendall varsity soccer team.
