Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Albion graduate Caitlynn Snook puts up a shot for Niagara Community College during the host Lady Thunderwolves 60 point, 91-31, romp over Erie Community College this afternoon. Snook had 4 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 point for NCCC which finishes the regular season at 29-1.
Albion grad Sierra Newton, left, looks for room to put up a shot while at right Newfane grad Paige Emborsky drives up court. Newton had 3 points and 2 rebounds. Emborsky had 12 points on four first half three-point shots which helped spark NCCC out to a commanding 55-15 half-time advantage. NCCC jumped out to a 18-0 lead at the outset. Everyone saw plenty of playing time and broke into the scoring column for NCCC as Cierra Harrison had 19 and Alaina Forbes 16 to lead the way for the Thunderwolves.
