High sectional seedings for Tigers trio
A trio of Lyndonville wrestlers have earned top four seeds for the Section V Division 2 (small schools) state qualifier wrestling championships which will be held Friday and Saturday at SUNY Brockport.
Mario Fidanza (220) is seeded second while Connor Bell (113) and Rodney Davis (170) are both seeded fourth.
A number of Niagara-Orleans League wrestlers have earned top four seeds for the Section VI Division 2 state qualifier championships which will be held on Saturday at Southwestern High near Jamestown.
N-O champion Newfane has a trio of top seeds including Andy Lucinski (106), Ryan Nugent (145) and Jaden Heers (285). The Panthers also have Adam Huntington (113) and Nik Voelker (138) both seeded third.
Roy-Hart’s Gavin Ciarfella (99) and Albion’s Cody Wilson (285) are also both seeded third.
