Monroe ends Tri County’s win streak
A 13 game winning streak came to an end as the Tri County Yellow Midget team dropped a 6-4 decision to Monroe County today in an Empire Amateur Hockey League game.
Monroe jumped out to a 5-2 first period lead as Ian McGraw and Patrick Ricker scored for Tri County during that stretch.
A second period goal by Ricker cut the deficit to 5-3 but Tri County could get no closer as Monroe went up 6-3 early in the third period.
Max Hapeman scored for Tri County in the final period.
Tri County is now 14-1 in the league and 19-2-1 overall.
