Notre Dame girls down Albion

Steadily pulling away, Notre Dame downed host Albion 55-36 in a non league girls basketball game this evening.
Notre Dame jumped out to a 16-10 first period lead as Amelia McCulley scored 8.
The Irish went on to extend their advantage to 13, 32-19, at the half and to 21, 49-28, at the three-quarter mark.
McCulley, Montana Weidman and Maylee Green each scored 4 in the second quarter and Morgan Rhodes netted 11 in the third for the Irish.
McCulley and Rhodes both finished with 15 and Lindsey Weidman 10 as Jewel Shenck, Green and Montana Weidman each had 4 and Sarah McGinnis 3.

Honesty Little scored 11 to lead Albion as Aly Knaak added 8, Kendall Derisley 5, Maya Knaak 4 and Ryan Olles, Abbie Pappalardo and Paige Derisley 2 each.

Now at 2-4, Albion next hosts Akron on Thursday in a Niagara-Orleans League game.
Holley 37, Barker 36
Holley trimmed host Barker 37-36 in a non league game as Halee Passarell scored 13, Tatum Gagne 10 and Tia Hofforth 7.
Serena Harris scored 11, Rachel Parfinski 10 an Sarah Outten 8 for Barker.
Holley held leads of 8-5 after one period, 22-15 at the half and 28-20 after three quarters.
