Roy-Hart cagers down MST Seneca

Big first and third period scoring bursts keyed Roy-Hart to a 65-53 non league season opening win over visiting MST Seneca this evening.

Roy-Hart jumped out to a 23-15 first quarter lead as Gavyn Boyle scored 9. Reed Albee added two threes and Canyon Wood one.

MST Seneca closed the deficit to three, 34-31 at the half but Roy-Hart pulled away for good with a 21-11 third period scoring edge.

Wood hit two more threes and Tom Ragonese and Boyle both added 5 points to lead that surge which put the Rams up 55-42 heading into the final period.

Boyle finished with 16, Albee 13 and Ragonese and Wood 12 each.

Notre Dame built up a commanding 40-16 half-time advantage in route to downing visiting Barker 76-30 in a non league game.
