Temps will take a tumble

It’s time to find the mittens, warm hats and the winter coat.

There will be freezing temperatures in the coming days. Today is forecast for a high of 43, but will fall to 34 tonight.

On Thursday, the temperatures will reach a high of 35 in Orleans County, with about a half-inch of snow expected. The temperatures will fall to 25 on Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers and a high of 32. The temps will fall to 22 on Friday night.

The weekend highs are forecast for 38 on Saturday and 44 on Sunday.
