Akron’s Lauren Wagner wins Pembroke Invitational

PEMBROKE – Akron’s Lauren Wagner, center in pink, is with the front pack of runners at the start of today’s Pembroke Invitational. Wagner topped 94 runners with a time of 19:21.
Roy-Hart’s Anna Rickard was third with a time of 19:44 and Albion’s Alanna Holman was fifth at 20:13.
In the boys varsity race, Barker’s Peter DiLorenzo was ninth at 17:28. He and Roy-Hart’s Ozzy Moore (seventh at 17:15) were the only Niagara-Orleans runners in the top 10 out of 115 participants.
