Breaking away from a scoreless deadlock, front-running Barker exploded for three quick goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half to key a 6-0 victory over visiting Medina this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game.

Katrina Clare broke the deadlock for Barker when she scored just 1:34 into the second half.

Clare scored again on a breakaway six minutes later. Then just two minutes after that Ciara Gregoire tallied off an assist from Clare to give the Lady Raiders a commanding 3-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the half.

Two goals by Rachel Hurtgam and one by Ginger Alexander in the final 15 minutes rounded out the Lady Raiders scoring. Clare and Serena Harris earned assists on the final two tallies.
