Lady Hawks have early volleyball opener

Holley will get an early start to the girls volleyball season as the Lady Hawks host Lyndonville in a non league match at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Lady Hawks are led by a contingent of seven veterans including seniors Ashleigh Boyce, Emilie Strayer, Aliyau Weaver, Janelle Miles, Alexis Clemons, Jade Hoffarth and sophomore AJ Botello.
“They’ve all got experience so we’re looking to be competitive,” said Coach Kate Connor.
The Lady Hawks will open Genesee Region League competition on September 9 at home against Byron-Bergen.
