M-L United U17 rallies to tie N-W
Medina-Lyndonville United U17 erased a 2-0 deficit to tie the Niagara Wheatfield Wolves 2-2 in a key Buffalo Western New York Junior Soccer League game today.
United fought off the Wolves with two goals in the final four minutes of play.
Jacob Corser provided the initial spark as he booted home United’s first goal, unassisted, after a skirmish in the box.
Three minutes later, Jude Isaacson slotted a neat pass into the box for Nate Dillenbeck who hammered home the the equalizer.
M-L United is now 5-0-2 and N-W 5-0-1.
The two teams face off in a key rematch, in Lyndonville, on Monday night at 6:45 p.m.
