Mustangs have All-Star lacrosse honorees

Medina has placed six players on the Class D Division All-Star lacrosse squad.
Senior attackman Christian Silversmith and junior defender Bobby Geiger have been been named to the first team.
Silversmith, who will also represent Medina at the annual senior game at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Williamsville North, led the Mustangs in scoring with 42 goals to surpass the 100 goal milestone for his varsity career.
Senior midfielder Chaise Prest and sophomore attack man Zach Blount both earned second team honors. Prest had 23 goals and 7 assists and Blount 11 goals and a team leading 37 assists.
Senior defender Blaire Prest and junior goalie Wesley Hughes both received Honorable Mention. Hughes made 206 saves on the season.
