Mustang stickmen down Lakemen
Six players contributed goals as Medina posted a rainy 16-6 victory over Wilson in a Class D Division lacrosse game this evening at Vets Park.
Christian Silversmith scored 6 goals and Tommy Vasquez 5 to lead the Mustangs attack as Chase Prest added 2 and Zach Blount, Cayden Lilleby and Cooper Fearby 1 each. Blount also handed out 6 assists.
Medina jumped out to a 3-0 first quarter lead as Vasquez had 2 goals and an assist and Lilleby a goal.
The Mustangs went on to lead by margins of 6-3 at the half and 10-3 after three quarters.
Now at 3-2 in the division, Medina will next host Akron (3-2) in a key divisional contest at 5 p.m. Friday at Vets Park.
