Medina, Roy-Hart girls post N-O softball wins
Medina defeated host Barker 25-6 and Roy-Hart downed host Albion 10-2 in Niagara-Orleans League softball action this afternoon.
Camri King had a two-run home run, Brooklyn Brown a solo homer and Tessa Pecoraro two singles for Medina which improves to 3-1 in N-O competition.
Defending champion Roy-Hart stayed unbeaten at 3-0 as Jamie Bower had 3 hits, including a double and triple, winning pitcher Mallory Steiner 2 hits with a double and triple and Maddie Fry 2 hits.
In the circle, Steiner struck out 10.
Lexi Wolck had 2 hits for Albion which slips to 1-3.
In the other N-O contest, Wilson (3-1) nipped Akron (1-2) 14-13.
Medina will host Wilson in a key game at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
