There are 912 people without electricity in Orleans County on Christmas morning after two days of punishing weather.

The blizzard warning for Orleans County expired this morning at 7 after 48 hours.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Orleans, Niagara and Monroe counties until 4 p.m. with blowing snow and winds gusting as high as 45 miles per hour.

“Plan on difficult travel conditions due to recent snows, and areas of blowing snow which could significantly reduce visibility,” the Weather Service said.
